This campaign was launched in February 2007 by the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict (CIVIC) and 5 partner organizations.  As organizations with varying missions we recognize the need to provide a place where all Americans, regardless of political stance, can express the support for a fair and equitable claims system to recognize and compensate civilians caught in the crossfire of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
